About DeforestAction

A global collaborative project established by TakingITGlobal in partnership with the Microsoft Partners in Learning Programme and Orangutan Outreach, DeforestACTION was established by school students to halt the destruction of rainforests and create a permanent home for orangutans. DeforestACTION empowers young people worldwide to work collaboratively on projects that address deforestation through an online learning community.
